Changes 2015!

The physical intervention course starting for the year 2015 will be subject to changes. Firstly the course will increase into 2 days, naturally the course materials we have been issued with are also changing which will now take the 2 days to go through. The fees will also increase as a result of paying the trainer for 2 days and not 1 day. Please take this into account and make sure that you come prepared with the learning materials that we provide you with.

Door supervision students will now need to put more preparation towards Unit 1: working in the private security industry. It will require you to look at the materials we have given you plus putting aside independent study time.

If you have anymore questions regarding this matter, than please contact our offices through email: info@everestseurity.co.uk.

New course!

Traffic Marshal (Banksman) Course DescriptionEstimated duration: 1/2 Day

What you will achieve?
Traffic Marshal (Vehicle Banksman) training is an effective way of improving the overall safety of a working environment where vehicles are required to reverse or perform maneuvres. Traffic Marshals (Banksman) are a legal requirement on many sites and events, and recommended for any site or event where control and reversing of vehicles is unavoidable.

For the organisation:
Traffic Marshal/Banksman training ensures that an organisation meets its legal requirements and reduces the risk of costly accidents when carrying out common, but dangerous, reversing manoeuvres.

"Nearly a quarter of all workplace transport injuries occur when vehicles are reversing. Traffic Marshals (Vehicle Banksman) offer drivers a trustworthy second perspective while maneuvering to play a key part in reducing accidents."
What the course includes...
  1. Legal Duties of a Traffic Marshal - Banksman
  2. Planning the Manoeuvre
  3. PPE Requirements when working as Traffic Marshal - Banksman
  4. Recognised Signals (HSE)
  5. Construction Design & Management Regulations
  6. Responsibilities of the Traffic Marshal - Banksman
